Donation FAQs
Yes! If you're in the United States, your donation is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. The COPD Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, and our tax ID is 20-1048322.

The COPD Foundation is not a chapter-based organization. We have staff across the United States and most of our programs serve either the entire United States or are worldwide.

Yes! You'll receive a printed thank you letter that also serves as a tax receipt. We mail letters out each week from our Miami office.

Fundraising FAQs
You can tell people that your event supports the COPD Foundation and use our logo on your event materials as long as it’s clear that this is something that you’re organizing yourself and is not an official COPD Foundation program.

Log into the fundraising platform and go to the fundraiser’s headquarters page. Select “My Fundraising Report” for a list of all donors.
